A brand-new 400m obstacle course race is coming to The Playground, Ipswich! 💥

💪 Optional obstacle practice: 10:00–10:30am

The Playground 400 is designed to be accessible to people new to OCR, while still giving experienced athletes plenty to get their teeth into. So if you’ve got a friend who’s always wanted to try obstacle course racing but hasn’t quite had the confidence - this is their chance! 👊

🏆 THE FORMAT

🔹 Round 1 – Two athletes are randomly paired and run side-by-side to set a time.
🔹 Round 2 – Athletes race head-to-head against their closest seeded competitor, creating some hopefully close, competitive and exciting racing! ⚡
🔹 Semi-Finals – The course changes to raise the challenge and test the athletes further.
🔹 Finals – The fastest competitors battle it out for the win in each age category and gender. 🥇

With a spectator-friendly venue and head-to-head racing, there should be plenty of exciting action to watch! 🔥
